Who this retreat is for

Here We Are is built for men who are moving through their lives but feel something is missing. Whether you’re stretched thin, disconnected from yourself, or stuck in a mode of constant performance. You don’t need prior retreat experience, most of our participants are joining for the first time.

You might be a fit if you…

  • Feel like you’re performing more than you’re living.
  • Want real conversations with other men, not small talk
  • Crave time in nature with space to actually slow down
  • Are ready to show up honestly, not perfectly

How the weekend flows

The retreat is designed to let you connect with others coming from all walks of life and leave the last day having found camaraderie from once strangers. It’s structured enough to feel intentional, spacious enough to feel restful.

Connection

Upon arrival we settle in and get together for what can be referred to as hyper-charged ice-breakers. Everyone is coming from somewhere different and we spend time getting on the same page, starting with the simple things, like learning one another’s names.

Intention

The itinerary throughout the weekend consists of guided meditations, journaling practices and unique guest facilitator workshops ranging from full group to ‘choose your own adventure’, experiences.

Play

There is deliberate free time throughout the weekend. The space we stay plays as much of a part as the workshops do and we want to give you the opportunity to experience it on your terms.

Your Guest Facilitators

Along with journaling and meditation workshops lead by Josh, the guest facilitators will lead workshops on nature photography/videography, musical expression and storytelling.

What men said after the first retreat

“The main takeaway was recognizing how far I’ve come in my journey. I’ve done so much internal work over the past few years, and sharing during the sessions reminded me of the transformation I’ve already been through.”

— Richard L.

“Since we left the retreat, I have journaled 14 pages in a full size Moleskine. This weekend really jump-started a lot of reflection.”

— Andrew O.

“Wheels are spinning, heart is growing, and immensely grateful. Huge props for lighting a spark.”

— Chris D.

“The house was awesome, but more than anything it was meeting everyone and the conversations we shared.”
